President Rejects Legislative Proposals on Foreclosure and Insolvency

The President rejected nine out of ten proposed laws related to property foreclosures and insolvency procedures due to legal and constitutional issues. Four proposals were also referred to the Supreme Court. However, two government bills related to debt restructuring were approved. The Legal Service highlighted serious legal flaws in the proposals. The amendments aim to protect debtors during the foreclosure process.
