Security Measures and Traffic Restrictions for the Informal EU Summit in Cyprus

Cyprus is preparing for the Informal EU Summit taking place on April 23-24, 2026, with increased security measures. There will be traffic restrictions and road closures in Nicosia, Larnaca, and Famagusta during these dates. To prevent accidents, measures have been issued to limit navigation around the Marina of Ayia Napa. The use of drones will be prohibited throughout the event. Citizens are advised to be patient and follow police instructions.
