Update on the Informal European Council in Nicosia

On the second day of the informal European Council in Nicosia, EU leaders will discuss the Multiannual Financial Framework and participate in an expanded Summit with leaders from the region. Cyprus is emerging as a reliable bridge between the EU and the Middle East, focusing on issues of peace and stability. A significant part of the day will be the signing of the 'One Europe, One Market' roadmap. The Cypriot Presidency aims for substantial involvement of member states in the economic framework. Negotiations for the upcoming MFF are continuing at a fast pace.
