New Road Connection for Cyprus' Mountain Communities

The Astromeriti - Evrychou highway has been inaugurated, providing better access to the mountainous communities of Solea, Marathasa, and Pitsilia. The 11.3-kilometer project was completed within budget and revised timeline. This route significantly reduces travel time to Nicosia, facilitating access to tourist areas and local products. For the first time, recycled materials were used in the construction, promoting sustainability. The public sector is committed to further improvements, listening to the needs of local residents.
