Nomination Process for the 2026 Parliamentary Elections

The nomination process for the 2026 parliamentary elections is underway. Out of 10 cases reviewed by the Legal Service, 9 have been approved without legal issues. However, there remains uncertainty regarding a nomination from ELAM, which is still under investigation. To be eligible, candidates must meet specific constitutional criteria. After the nomination submission, there will be a 24-hour period for objections.
