Georgios Koumas Pleads Not Guilty to Charges

Former president of the Cyprus Football Association, Georgios Koumas, pleaded not guilty to 25 charges at the District Court of Nicosia. The proceedings started late, although they were scheduled for an earlier time. His defense claimed they were notified of the time change. The charges include conflict of interest and money laundering. Additionally, a request was filed to annul an order that freezes Koumas's property worth €3.4 million.
