Court ruling on fraud committed by Ohio brothers

Two brothers from Ohio posed as Middle Eastern emirs and committed fraud amounting to $21 million. Zubair and Muzammil al Zubair were sentenced to 24 and 23 years in prison, respectively. A former assistant to the mayor of East Cleveland acted as their accomplice. They created fake identities and portrayed a lavish lifestyle to deceive their victims. Their schemes included luxurious trips and false promises of investment opportunities.
