Sealing of Businesses with Significant Tax Debts

The Tax Department plans to seal businesses with tax debts exceeding €20,000. The new tax reform allows for the implementation of this measure, which will target direct taxes and established debts. At least three warnings must be issued before sealing a business. The aim is to encourage debtors to settle their debts through payment arrangements. The focus will mainly be on significant debtors who are active businesses.
