Giorgos Zavrantonas is set to appear again before the Nicosia Criminal Court for a drug case involving 15 kilograms of cocaine. The trial is scheduled for May 21, 2026, following the annulment of his previous conviction by the Court of Appeal. The new process will depend on the presence of the main witness and potential legal objections from the defense. Zavrantonas had previously been sentenced to 22 years in prison.
