Driver rescued after car accident on the highway

A car accident occurred early in the morning on the Limassol-Nicosia highway. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which ended up in a field where he became trapped. The Fire Department responded quickly and rescued the driver with the use of special equipment. He was then transported to the hospital by the Ambulance Service. The driver's condition has not yet been reported.
