Establishment of Modern Repair and Reuse Centers in Cyprus

Cyprus is moving towards a new era of waste management by establishing two modern Repair and Reuse Centers. These centers, one in Nicosia and one in Limassol, aim to promote prevention, reuse, and a circular economy. Their locations were chosen based on population and environmental criteria to reduce transport distances. The processes for the construction of the centers are advancing, aiming to meet the needs of the majority of the population. This initiative is expected to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of the waste management system in Cyprus.
