Pharmaceutical Companies Propose Changes to Contribution Calculation

Pharmaceutical companies are proposing changes to how citizens' contributions for medications in the General Health System are calculated. Instead of the suggested cap, they propose setting a percentage based on the drug prices. Retail prices may lead to contributions exceeding €20. Despite these proposals, the Health Insurance Organization (OAY) is unwilling to enter negotiations for a comprehensive review of the system. Organized patients remain positive but have not officially commented yet.
