Decision on the Detention of George Christodoulou-Zavrantonas

The Permanent Criminal Court of Nicosia will announce on Monday its decision regarding the detention of George Christodoulou-Zavrantonas, who is accused of possessing 15 kilograms of cocaine. The case dates back to 2019 when Zavrantonas was convicted, but the judgment was recently overturned. The defense requested documents concerning a presidential pardon granted to Yiannis Andreou, who had implicated Zavrantonas.
