Strengthening Cyprus-India Relations through New Agreements

Cyprus and India are strengthening their relations through common agreements resulting from President Nikos Christodoulides' visit to India. The leaders agreed on 11 deliverables and five Memoranda of Cooperation concerning diplomacy, defense, and education. The 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations will be celebrated in 2027 with special events. Both countries committed to peaceful resolution of the Cyprus issue and collaboration based on international law principles. These developments indicate India's support for Cyprus and the desire for strategic partnership.
