Arrest of 40-Year-Old for the Kidnapping of a 69-Year-Old Woman in Morfou

The police arrested a 40-year-old in connection with the kidnapping of a 69-year-old woman in the Morfou area. A 24-year-old already in custody is also set to appear in court. The elderly woman was forced to give 200 euros to the suspect and later accompanied him to a bank where he attempted to withdraw money from her account unsuccessfully. The Morfou police are continuing their investigation into the case. The inquiry is ongoing.
