Security Assessment for New Political Leaders

Following the recent parliamentary elections, the police are considering providing security for the new political leaders who entered the Parliament. It appears that Odysseas Mihailidis and Feidias Panayiotou may be the only ones in need of protection. The Security Committee will assess the risk and if necessary, a proposal for their security will be made. Existing political leaders are already provided with police protection, but a decision will also be made for those parties that did not enter Parliament. The security issue is attracting attention for parties that did not succeed in the elections.
