Cyprus Signs €1.18 Billion SAFE Loan Agreement

The Commissioner for Defense announced the signing of a €1.18 billion loan agreement under the SAFE program by Cyprus. Cyprus becomes the 6th country to sign this agreement, aimed at strengthening European defense readiness. The Minister of Finance and the Head of the Public Debt Management Office signed on behalf of Cyprus. EU support will soon start reaching Cyprus's military and industry. This agreement enhances cooperation among several EU member states.
