Advancements and Prospects of the Primary Sector in Cyprus

Cyprus's agriculture is entering a significant economic upgrade through the implementation of its Primary Sector Development Strategy. The planned budget includes investments of €106.2 million, expected to create around 1,370 new jobs. These interventions are improving producers' daily lives and strengthening other sectors of the economy. Adapting agriculture to climate change is also crucial, aiming to prevent production declines in the future. The Minister of Agriculture has scheduled new measures to protect farmers and ensure Cyprus's food security.
