Why Greek Doctors Choose to Work in Cyprus

Many Greek doctors prefer to work in Cyprus due to the better working conditions provided by the General Health System (GeSY). Approximately 860 doctors from Greece have moved to Cyprus primarily for economic reasons and the digital organization of the system. The Minister of Health highlights that GeSY ensures universal access and choice for patients. This has led to improved service and enhancement of the medical experience. The system is continuously evolving to meet the needs of citizens and healthcare professionals.
