Shortage of Clinical Dietitians and Its Impact on Patients

The dietary planning situation for patients in the Nicosia District is serious and challenging, as there is only one available clinical dietitian. Patients face long waiting lists and lack access to essential nutritional products. The absence of the dietitian due to leave or other commitments leaves many patients without the necessary services. The Federation of Patient Associations of Cyprus expresses its frustration and calls for immediate solutions. Unfortunately, the situation remains unresolved for over a year.
