Christodoulides and Costa Discuss EU Support for the Cyprus Issue

President Christodoulides met with the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, to discuss the EU's support for the Cyprus issue. The agenda includes Turkey's requests for participation in various programs, and Nicosia is concerned that satisfying these demands before any positive signals from Ankara could undermine negotiations. The EU and UN's contribution is seen as critical in advancing talks. Additionally, Christodoulides participated in a review of the work done during Cyprus's Presidency of the EU Council. He will also attend the inauguration of an art exhibition organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
