Financial Support and Restoration for Fire-Affected Areas in Limassol

The government is moving forward with financial support and restoration for areas affected by the devastating fire in the mountainous Limassol. A total of €9 million has been allocated for compensating 428 families who suffered significant damage. The restoration plan includes investments of around €60 million for infrastructure and environmental regeneration. In addition to direct compensation, expenditures have been made for land clearing and revitalization of local communities. The restoration process is ongoing, aiming to return the region to normalcy.
