Health Ministry's Plans for Supporting IVF and Menopause

The Ministry of Health is considering plans to increase support for women undergoing in vitro fertilization, including raising the amount of financial aid and the number of attempts covered. They also acknowledge the need for support for women going through menopause, aiming to create a comprehensive informational framework. Meanwhile, the licensing of the only clinic for allogeneic transplants has stalled due to a check by the Electromechanical Service. As a result, Cypriot patients are still suffering, awaiting the completion of the process. There is an intention to bring the necessary medications to Cyprus through the National Health System (GESY).
