Aglandjia Elections: Andri Chatzianthreou Elected with Low Voter Turnout

Andri Chatzianthreou was elected the new deputy mayor of Aglandjia in the by-elections, defeating Prokopis Prokopiou. Her candidacy was supported by several political parties. However, voter turnout was very low, with only 27.7% of registered voters participating. In comparison, the turnout in the 2024 elections was 61.16%. Chatzianthreou replaces Andreas Konstantinou, who was elected as a member of parliament.
