Request for Benefit Adjustment by the Cyprus Paraplegic Organization

The Cyprus Paraplegic Organization is calling for an immediate increase in benefits for individuals with severe mobility impairments due to rising living costs. The expenses for care and independent living have significantly increased in recent years, while government support has remained stagnant. The price hikes in food and energy are also alarming. Benefits have not been adjusted since 2019, and the actual cost of care is much higher than what is currently provided. The organization is requesting at least a 30% increase in these benefits.
