Relatives of Missing Persons in Assia Face Dilemma

The relatives of the missing persons from Assia are in a difficult position regarding the receipt of bones that have been delivered to them. Many refuse to bury the remains in parts and are waiting to receive all the bones together. This situation arises from the repeated delivery of remains, as many have already held funerals for the initial bones. There are allegations of efforts to cover up the crimes committed in 1974. Turkey continues to refuse cooperation in excavating the former landfill site to locate the remains.
