Government and DIKO Meeting to Improve Collaboration

During a meeting at the Presidential Palace, the leadership of DIKO requested greater involvement in the government and better coordination in decision-making. Nikolas Papadopoulos expressed dissatisfaction with the collaboration with President Christodoulides, who responded with displeasure regarding the leak of a letter from DIKO to the media. The meeting concluded with intentions to create a joint coordination team. DIKO is also requesting potential candidates for ministerial positions. Changes in the governmental structure are expected in the near future.
