Extension of the Deputy Ministry of European Affairs

The Cabinet decided to extend the operation of the Deputy Ministry of European Affairs until December 31, 2026. This urgent decision will be examined by the Parliament, which is expected to meet for the last time on July 15. The government intends to keep the Deputy Ministry to make use of the experience and expertise gained. Deputy Minister Marilena Raouna confirmed that the Secretariat will continue to operate as a coordination structure for European affairs in Cyprus.
