Progress and Challenges in Fund Disbursement

Cyprus has managed to disburse 57.7% of the European funds from the Recovery Fund, totaling €589 million out of €1.02 billion. The 7th and 8th payment installments are expected soon to raise the total to €707 million. However, the activation of two legislative measures is necessary for the completion of the payment requests. There are disagreements from local authorities opposing the proposed measures. Cyprus has achieved 90% of the milestones set in the implementation of the plan.
