Special Unit Operation to Safely Disarm 31-Year-Old Man

Yesterday afternoon, members of the Special Unit conducted an operation in the town of Paphos to disarm a 31-year-old man who was holding a knife and threatening his relatives. Authorities attempted negotiations to convince him to come out, but they were unsuccessful. Eventually, the Special Unit intervened and managed to disarm the man. He was then taken to a psychiatric clinic following a court order. The situation caused serious concern, but the operation was successfully carried out without injuries.
