Reinstatement of Velister Platform for Transition to New DVB-T2 Technology

The Velister platform is being reinstated to address issues arising from the transition to the new DVB-T2 technology. The Deputy Minister of Innovation stated that this decision is taken to give the public time to adjust. Problems mainly occur in older reception installations, but positive indicators for the restoration are expected. Citizens are encouraged to report cases of profiteering, while support is provided through a call center. The retransmission from the old transmitters has already begun.
