Development of Next Generation 112 System for Modernizing Emergency Services in Cyprus

A contract has been signed for the development of the Next Generation 112 System in Cyprus, aimed at modernizing emergency services. The project is set to be completed in 20 months and will enable the management of calls, messages, images, and videos. Its purpose is to improve the responsiveness of first response services in critical incidents and ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The Interior Minister stated that the system will contribute to public safety and align with European standards. This development is expected to enhance civil protection and the safeguarding of human life.
