Purchase of Hotel by the Welfare Fund for Bank Employees

ETYK (the Welfare Fund for Bank Employees of Cyprus) is reported to have completed the purchase of the Pola Costa Beach Hotel Apts in Pernera, Protaras. While ETYK representatives have not confirmed the information, the acquisition appears to have been completed quietly. The hotel had been closed for a long time and was auctioned by the Bank of Cyprus. This purchase comes after a previous investment in Paphos by the bank employees. It is still unknown whether renovations will take place on the newly acquired property.
