Appeal of Election Results in the Nicosia District

Anastasia Anthousi filed an appeal to the Electoral Court regarding the recount of votes in the Nicosia district. This appeal concerns the transfer of one seat from DISY to ELAM, which altered the electoral balance. As a result, DISY ended up with 5 seats instead of 6. Anthousi had 7,606 votes and would have secured the seat if the votes hadn’t changed. Additionally, there are concerns about the accuracy of the seat allocation, as a few votes had a significant impact.
