Postponement of Presidential Elections Discussions and Allegations of Interference

The internal pre-election campaign in DISY has unofficially started, but public discussions about the presidential elections have been postponed until autumn. MP Georgios Pamboridis raised allegations of interference in the parliamentary elections, claiming party members contacted voters to discourage them from voting for a specific candidate. Party leader Annita Dimitriou condemned such actions, stating they are unacceptable. She also emphasized the priority of the Cyprus issue and the intention to maintain political productivity. No discussions regarding the elections are scheduled for the current period.
