Completion of Investigations into Costas Parmaklis

The Police have completed their investigations into allegations against Costas Parmaklis, former director of the Nicosia Water Board. The allegations came from Pavlos Nikolaou and involve possible abuse of power in four cases. The investigator has summoned Parmaklis for a statement, and the report from the Anti-Corruption Authority is expected to be submitted to the Legal Service in a few days. The Authority noted there were reasons to exclude Parmaklis from a procurement bidding. The process continues, and the findings will be examined thoroughly.
