Breeding Crocodiles for Prison Security in Israel

Israel is reviving medieval practices by breeding Nile crocodiles for use in prisons. The Minister of Environmental Protection approved this plan, which has been supported by the Minister of National Security. The aim of using crocodiles is to prevent escapes by prisoners, particularly members of Hamas. Despite some opposition from certain agencies, the decision has already been implemented. The crocodiles will be placed around the Ketziot prison in southern Israel.
