Revelation About the 70 Assians Murdered in 1974

July 19, 2026

A meeting between the Relatives of Missing Persons Committee of Assia and the Committee on Missing Persons revealed details about the fate of 70 residents who were murdered in 1974. These killings are associated with one of the largest mass murders during the Turkish invasion. The remains of the Assians were initially buried in wells but were later moved to a landfill to permanently erase their traces. During the meeting, witnesses who knew about the removal and disposal of the remains were presented. This behavior was driven by a combination of disrespect and practical reasons.
