The advancement of the Northern Bypass of Limassol, connecting Germasogeia and Agios Athanasios, is a priority for local authorities. The project is ready and could help alleviate traffic congestion, but it has been stalled due to a pending feasibility study. The Minister of Transport will meet with mayors to discuss the acceleration of mature projects. The Agios Athanasios roundabout is one of the most congested points in Cyprus. The area is undergoing significant development, and the new road will facilitate transportation.
