Mandatory Suspension of Outdoor Work Due to Heatwave

Due to extreme temperatures, the Department of Labor Inspection announced a mandatory suspension of all outdoor heavy and moderate work, as well as delivery services using two-wheeled vehicles. The suspension applies from 12:00 to 16:00 for areas below 300 meters in elevation. Employers and self-employed individuals are urged to implement measures to protect against heat stress. The importance of frequent breaks and providing cool drinking water is emphasized. The Department reminds the importance of adhering to Practice Codes for workplace safety.
