Supreme Court Denies Serakhuhtin Aktulaev's Habeas Corpus Request
July 24, 2026
The Supreme Court of Cyprus rejected the request of Serakhuhtin Aktulaev for a Habeas Corpus order, which would have prevented his extradition to the US. He is accused by the Americans of online fraud, and an international arrest warrant has been issued against him. Aktulaev has been held in Central Prisons since his arrest in May 2025. The judge ruled that the lower court's decision was correct. Aktulaev can now appeal the ruling.
