New Arrangement for Settling Overdue Social Insurance Contributions

A new regulation allows thousands of debtors to the Social Insurance Fund to apply for settlement of overdue debts. So far, 1,500 applications have been submitted from May to July, with the deadline set for September 14th. Debtors can pay their debts in 54 installments, with a minimum installment amount of €25. Applications are reviewed by the relevant authorities, and recipients are informed by letter regarding the details of their arrangement. There are favorable terms, including discounts on additional costs based on the number of installments chosen.
