Development of the Cronos Gas Field in Cyprus by Eni

Eni announced its final investment decision to develop the Cronos gas field in Cyprus's EEZ. The project aims to supply natural gas to the market by 2028, expecting a production of 500 million cubic feet per day. The gas will be processed in Egypt and exported to Europe as LNG. Eni's CEO, Claudio Descalzi, highlighted the project's significance for Cyprus as a gas producer and exporter. Cronos is Eni's first project in Cyprus and contributes to the security of gas supply in Europe.
