Contracts with the Same Official at the Municipality of Limassol: Assignments and Omissions

The Municipality of Limassol assigned contracts to an official who failed to submit required monthly reports. Initially, she was awarded a contract worth €12,000, which later increased to €21,600 after a new tender. At the same time, the official received a travel allowance and the Municipality purchased a bicycle for her commuting. Furthermore, it was found that the official did not have excellent knowledge of the Greek language as required. The Auditor General identified a total of five different violations in this case.
