Police Speed Checks Week to Reduce Road Accidents

The police are launching a week of speed checks to prevent road accidents and enhance road safety. The checks will take place from August 3 to August 9, 2026. This initiative is part of a collaboration with the European Traffic Police Network ROADPOL. Over the past four years, excessive speed has caused 10% of fatal accidents. This effort aims to reduce severe accidents on the roads.
