Loss of Musician Lakis Chalkias

Lakis Chalkias, a distinguished musician representing Greek music tradition, passed away at the age of 82. He was born in Ioannina in 1943 and came from a musical family. He played five musical instruments and began singing at the age of seven. He collaborated with many significant figures in the Greek music scene. One of the highlights of his career was the presentation of his work at the Herodion in 2002.
