Transfer of Majority Shares of GSI to French Company
August 6, 2026
The majority shares of the Great Sea Interconnector have been transferred to the French company Meridiam following an agreement with ADMIE. There is uncertainty regarding the importance of the technical-economic study from EIB for the project. This development surprised many, except for the President of the Republic.
