This year's July was the eighth warmest July since 1968, with the highest temperature reaching 43.2 degrees Celsius. Heat warnings were issued on 11 out of 31 days of the month. Despite these warnings, residents considered July to be relatively mild, though there were several days of intense heat. The highest temperatures were recorded in Athalassa, while those in downtown Nicosia seemed higher than in other areas. The lowest extreme temperature was measured at 27.6 degrees Celsius in Paphos.
