Repeated Rejections of Release Requests for Businessman Accused of Fraud

The Permanent Criminal Court of Larnaca has rejected for the third time the request of a 44-year-old businessman accused of fraud and witness tampering. The businessman, along with three others, is alleged to have solicited large sums of money from a 77-year-old. Their trial is set to begin in September, and they face multiple charges, including participation in a criminal organization. The 44-year-old also has charges related to other criminal activities. The other defendants have been released under certain conditions.
