Tax Department Clears Nearly 2 Million Tax Returns

The Tax Department has cleared nearly 2 million tax returns that had been pending for years. These processes involve tax returns of individuals and corporations from previous tax years. Last year, a total of 373,000 returns were processed, resulting in significant amounts of income taxes being paid or refunded. This campaign continues with the establishment of an independent appeals committee to address disputes. Additionally, the Department plans new measures to improve the tax process.
